BROW MICROPIGMENTATION
Perfect for enhancing, reshaping, or filling in sparse brows, brow micropigmentation offers long-lasting results tailored to your unique features.

Brow Micropigmentation is the umbrella term that covers a range of semi-permanent brow tattoo techniques. You might be familiar with terms like microbladed brows, nano brows, powder brows, or combo brows--each of these techniques offers a unique approach to enhancing your brows to create natural-looking, fuller brows with minimal maintenance.

Your permanent makeup artist will help you determine the perfect technique to achieve your desired look. Whether it's microbladed brows, nano brows, powder brows, or combo brows, a thorough consultation will ensure you achieve your desired look.

THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

what to expect during your appointment...
Expect to spend 2-3 hours with your Permanent Makeup Artist on the day of your service. We do recommend scheduling a consultation before your brow micropigmentation, however, if that is not an option--a consultation to discuss any concerns, your desired shape, color, and the best technique to meet your needs will be done at your appointment. Once you have settled on your desired look, your technician will map your brows to ensure you are happy with the design.
A common concern is, “How painful is it?” The pain of brow micropigmentation is very mild. On a scale of 1-10, most clients would rate it as a 2. The pain you experience will be lessened by numbing cream, which is applied both before the service as well as during the procedure. If you’ve had a tattoo before, rest assured, brow micropigmentation is much less painful because it doesn’t go as deep into the skin.
after your appointment...
THE HEALING PROCESS
Immediately after your appointment, your brows will be a little tender with some slight bleeding and drainage of lymphatic fluid. To avoid buildup and thick scabs, gently blot this drainage away with a clean tissue every 10 minutes for the first few hours. Some swelling and redness around the eyebrows are common and will usually subside within a few hours to a couple of days.
During the first phase of the healing process, it is completely normal for the pigment to look darker than your desired final color, and for the hair strokes to appear thicker for the first few days than they will after they have completely healed.
Another sometimes surprising yet completely normal part of the healing process is called “The Ghosting Phase”. During this phase, the pigment settles into your skin as the top layers begin to shed, causing the pigment in your brows to appear lighter or even vanish. Trust that this is part of the healing process and eventually, the pigment will re-emerge, and the brows will settle into their final, natural-looking color.
TOUCH UPS AND COLOR BOOSTS
An initial touch-up is included in the price of your service and we recommend scheduling that session after 4-8 weeks once your brows are completely healed.
While it may be daunting to schedule a touch-up since you will go through another similar (though some clients report faster) healing process, it is important because everyone heals differently so the outcomes will vary. During your touch-up, your artist will address any color issues, such as fading or unevenness, and ensure the brows look vibrant and natural.
However, if you are completely happy with your brows by 6 weeks and you do not notice any patchiness or uneven color, feel free to skip this appointment.
A Color Boost is recommended every 12-18 months. Micropigment fades over time, so regular touch-ups are necessary to maintain the color and crispness of the strokes and prolong the lifespan of your service.
